Sounds scary.. So does it act like there's no card at all? And card has been working OK in some other device?

Haven't tried the card on other devices. Wonder if the phone has limit for card or something? It just says: "No memory card present".

Nokia says it handles 4Gb cards
I think there should be a common limit for all S60 devices using microSD and that should be at least 4GB (I've been using 4GB card with few devices).
Problem solved. Just use The Force x-) I had not pushed the card further enough. I had to use pen to push the card in.
